The Musical Sensation “Always…Patsy Cline” At Players of Utica

Players of Utica presents Always…Patsy Cline, the international musical phenomenon based on a true story about Patsy Cline’s unlikely friendship with her biggest fan,
Houston housewife Louise Seger, who befriends the country music legend in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961. Patsy finds in her a fast friend and a savvy business partner. Late night conversations between them create a bond that lasts a lifetime. This musical complete with down-home humor and true emotion written and originally directed by Ted Swindley includes many of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as “Crazy”, “I Fall To Pieces”, and “Walking After Midnight.

This rousing musical is directed by Daniel Fusillo with music direction by Bonnie Hibbard. Featured are two well-known local actors Jenna Wratten as Patsy and Hana Meyers as Louise. This foot-stomping musical features the seven-piece country-western Bodacious Bobcats Band. Patsy Cline’s music is timeless and has a broader appeal than just country-western fans.
