Description: Always…Patsy Cline is a musical based on a true story about Patsy Cline’s unlikely friendship with her biggest fan, Houston housewife Louise Seger, who befriends the country music legend in a Texas honky-tonk in 1961. Patsy finds in her a fast friend and a savvy business partner. Late night conversations between them create a bond that lasts a lifetime. This musical complete with down-home humor and true emotion includes many of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as “Crazy”, “I Fall To Pieces”, and “Walking After Midnight. It is a rousing musical that offers two outstanding female roles.

Cast Needed - Two Adult Female Roles ages 20-up (one is a non- singing role):

Patsy Cline - (The Legendary Country Singer) The role requires a dynamic and passionate actor who can embody Patsy Cline in voice and spirit. An ability to invoke her unique vocal style is essential. Prepare “Honky-Tonk Merry-Go-Round” and either “Crazy” or “I Fall To Pieces” for the audition.

Louise Seger - (A Texas Housewife and her biggest fan…non-singing role) Louise is a strong-willed, big-hearted Texan with a strong comedic sense. She must be able to hold the stage and interact with the audience at times.

A pedal steel guitar player is needed for the onstage “Bodacious Bobcats Band” Assistance in technical aspects of the show are needed as well.

Performance dates: June 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12.
