Players of Utica Presents the Musical, Girl Singer… A Tribute
UTICA, N.Y., 05/07/2023 – Players of Utica presents a slam-bang finish to its regular 2022-2023 Season with an engaging musical, Girl Singer… A Tribute.
The love of singing, incredible talent, and dedication to a passion for music define the greatest female vocalists of all time. Girl Singer is a buoyant musical tribute to them, showcasing amazingly talented local female singers that electrify the stage with these same qualities.
Delmarshia Curry, Cassandra Dolan, Jessica Kaczor, Hana Meyers, Linda Potts, Ally Priore-Quigley, Astena Smith, Linda LaPorte-Stoodley, Meaghan Williams along with Amanda Costello, Danielle Priore, and Dee Ann Tumbuan present unique vocal stylings ranging from pop to blues to country-western, to soul, to classics.
The production is directed by Daniel Fusillo, music direction and arrangements by John Krause, and choreography by Patrick St. Thomas, with Chris Davis on bass and Michael Santiago on drums. Girl Singer is certain to entertain, to captivate, and to lift your spirits!
This season continues Players of Utica’s long history of high-quality entertainment, being the oldest continually operating community theatre in New York State and one of the five oldest in the entire U.S. — a distinction that our area can be very proud of.

Thursday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m.
Fridays, June 2 and 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Saturdays, June 3 at 7:30 p.m. and June 10 at 2:00 p.m.
Sundays, June 4 and June 11 at 2:00 p.m.
