Day 2 of Players of Utica’s 2019 Playwrights Festival

One Christmas Eve

JULY 27 – 7:30 pm

by Mike D. Burke
directed by Stephen Wagner

When Nicole the elf is pulled into Santa’s office on Christmas Eve, she thinks for sure she’s getting fired. Instead, Santa says he’s chosen her for a secret mission in the human realm. She is to bring a mysterious item in the form of a snow globe to a friend of his, none other than Jack Frost. Jack has been living in the human realm and working as a bartender for some time now. Deliver the package and her job is done, right? Not quite! There are dangerous forces after the item. Also, ya know, the fate of Christmas and the entire universe might be at risk. Nicole is in for a wild sleigh ride!

Note: This will be a staged reading of the play — in other words, the actors will be acting out the play on stage, but with scripts in hand. It’ll be a lot of fun… we promise!
